The basis of the CO₂ laser is a glass laser tube generating light with a wavelength of 10,600 nm and a maximum power of 40W. The tube is powered by a high-voltage converter with a maximum output of 40W, and the output is fully adjustable using PWM. The laser beam is aimed at the application site using a 7-axis arm. Control of lower and time-critical functions is done using a powerful STM32F4 processor. Higher functions are handled by the industrial SBC Raspberry Pi 4. The CO₂ laser is built on high-quality components available on the market. The HMI consists of a 15.6" 4k touch screen with Multitouch function, capable of registering up to 10 fingers. To prevent unauthorised use of the laser, the machine is blocked until the RFID tag is attached to the reader. At the same time, such authorization is recorded for the purpose of archiving the use of the machine. The laser has two modes – a surgical and a fractional mode. The surgical mode is intended for cutting, and the laser includes two different end applicators with a focal distance of 100mm and 50mm.

For resurfacing treatments, it is supplied with a compact all-aluminium fractional head equipped with a two-mirror galvo servo system. The galvanometers are controlled using a self-designed driver controlled by STM32F4. They make it possible to render an image with a maximum size of 20x20mm and a raster with a minimum resolution of up to 0.1mm.

The AURORA CO2 FRACTIONAL LASER is a powerful CO₂ fractional ablation laser that restores the skin surface for skin rejuvenation and effectively removes scars. Thanks to the BLACK BOX security device, it is able to diagnose and treat skin lesions such as wrinkles, large pores and uneven skin structure (skin resurfacing). It is likewise possible to remove birthmarks, growths and warts completely painlessly and, above all, quickly and effectively.

The surface fractional mode is designed to cause less thermal damage, allowing for faster patient recovery after treatment. The customization of the user mode allows for precise execution in different lesions, and the handpieces are designed for surgical use.
